Compendium is a software tool providing a flexible visual interface for managing the connections between information and ideas.
My Showcase
MyShowcase is an open source content aggregator, mapper and showcaser for e-portfolios to support learning and personal development. It allows users to integrate learning evidence from a range of online sources to showcase for continuous professional development, career planning, and lifelong learning. Users can bring together RSS feeds, Twitter accounts, Flickr sets, files, and weblinks and to create rich evidence streams of their online content.

Blogging for learning?
An absolutely fantastic way of way of evidencing a learning journey, developing literacy and e-skills around a particular theme. Have the students set up a blog about a topic, e.g which is better Xbox or ps3, have them research features, costs, aesthetics etc and then discuss findings on there blog. Using mobile devices they can upload pictures / videos outside of the classroom, maybe on a trip or visit to pc world as supplementary evidence. Obviously consideration around blog safety and security is paramount however they can be set to private if not within a domain and also permissions can be set.
Embedding SkyDrive or Google Docs files in website
SkyDrive and Google docs allow you to embed Office docs in to your website or vle such as moodle. The main differences for me are that skydrive retains alot of the functionality of excel as you would expect for eg conditional formatting where as the google apps suite is better designed for collaboration in my opinion. Eitherway this is a great approach to getting learners working collaboratively on projects.
Exchange Web Mail
Have you synced mail and calendars to your mobile? Once you have created an event on your calendar structure the notes to form an all in one template including agenda items, minutes, action records etc. using Siri or voice to text can speed up this process. This makes all your meeting records available on the go. Another trick includes using hyperlinks in the notes which contain links to files stored in the cloud. Therefore papers for meetings do not have to be carried around again. Finally and notes and papers can be photographed and sent from your device to be attached to the event later. Be sure to set the meeting to private. Any video or audio recordings can also but saved.

Educational Origami
Educational Origami is a blog and a wiki, about 21st Century Teaching and Learning.
This wiki is not just about the integration of technology into the classroom, though this is certainly a critical area, it is about shifting our educational paradigm. The world is not as simple as saying teachers are digital immigrants and students digital natives. In fact, we know that exposure to technology changes the brains of those exposed to it. The longer and stronger the exposure and the more intense the emotions the use of the technology or its content evokes, the more profound the change. This technology is increasingly ubiquitous. We have to change how we teach, how we assess, what we teach, when we teach it, where we are teaching it, and with what.
Its a tall order, but these are exciting times.

A fantastic concept... Augmented reality uses technology to bring objects to life. The potential within an educational context is limitless and i am currently trying to identify a partner/developers platform to explorer pedagogical potential. Currently used as a marketing tool and beats QR codes hands down.

Visual strategic planning is the best and most powerful way to develop and create a shared understanding with in an organization or a team.
