Photo Story 3 (Microsoft)

Microsoft Photo Story 3 is similar to Windows Movie Maker in that you can produce a slideshow with sound. I feel it is slightly more user-friendly and doesn't seem to crash as easy as WMM. A great feature is that with a microphone you can easily record voice commentary over each picture. This could be used as an assessment method where identification and describe/explanation are required.

"Create slideshows using your digital photos. With a single click, you can touch-up, crop, or rotate pictures. Add stunning special effects, soundtracks, and your own voice narration to your photo stories. Then, personalize them with titles and captions. Small file sizes make it easy to send your photo stories in an e-mail. Watch them on your TV, a computer, or a Windows Mobile–based portable device." (http://www.microsoft.com/, 15.01.09)

*Your system requires Windows Media Player 10 Installed prior to installation of this product.
